Spotlight on Donors: Whose Turn Is It?

Give to Game 2013 Donation
Whose Turn Is It? is South Austin's newest game store and Give to Game's newest sponsor. This weekend Dan stopped by and met with the owner who donated some really awesome games as well as gave us a bunch of 20% coupons!

If you get a chance, you should definitely stop by their store. Their games range from kids games to advanced strategy to warhammer and everything in between. According to their website they want to provide the community with an accessible gaming environment--especially for families. They have open gaming tables every night (even on event nights). They also say that they are willing to stay open later to let you finish a game. Also, they do birthday parties for little and big gamers alike.

Calling All Donors!

We are looking for donations for auction or door prizes. Please e-mail us at givetogame@gmail.com if you would like to donate a game(s) or a cool geeky item(s).

It Pays to Volunteer

We are looking for volunteers to assist us in setting up the event, manning the registration desk, picking up donations, closing up each night of the event, final event clean-up, etc. In return we would like to offer our appreciation to these volunteers as well as our long time VIP donors with a pre-event open gaming night. The night of April 19th will be reserved gaming for our volunteers and VIP donors only. After set up all volunteers and donors will be allowed several hours of open gaming as well as getting first dibs on door prizes.

Here is how you can participate in the extra night of gaming:

* Sign up to volunteer for the event (man the registration booth, set-up, tear down, etc.). Interested volunteers are asked to email us at givetogame@gmail.com
